From 09c45cc1faa9805124168de414df7eba007acfee Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Laurent Pinchart Date: Sun, 19 Jan 2020 04:59:02 +0200 Subject: libcamera: signal: Make connection and disconnection thread-safe MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Make the signal connection and disconnection thread-safe, and document them as such. This is required to make objects connectable from different threads. The connect(), disconnect() and emit() methods are now all protected by a global mutex, which may generate a high lock contention. This could be improved with finer-grained locks or with a pool of mutexes.
