Split the Raspberry Pi pipeline handler and IPA source code into common
and VC4/BCM2835 specific file structures.
For the pipeline handler, the common code files now live in
src/libcamera/pipeline/rpi/common/
and the VC4-specific files in src/libcamera/pipeline/rpi/vc4/.
For the IPA, the common code files now live in
src/ipa/rpi/{cam_helper,controller}/
and the vc4 specific files in src/ipa/rpi/vc4/. With this change, the
camera tuning files are now installed under share/libcamera/ipa/rpi/vc4/.
To build the pipeline and IPA, the meson configuration options have now
changed from "raspberrypi" to "rpi/vc4":
meson setup build -Dipas=rpi/vc4 -Dpipelines=rpi/vc4

When compiled with LTO (the default on Ubuntu), the global static
objects camHelpers and algorithms cause a crash in raspberrypi_ipa_proxy
at runtime as they're not allocated by the time the registration
routines execute.
This is a fairly crude fix which just converts the global static objects
into local static objects inside an equivalently named function.

Update the imx219, imx477 and imx519 parsers to extract the line length
values from the embedded data stream and use these values in the
deviceStatus metadata, replacing the DelayedControls provided values.

Rename CamHelper::getVBlanking to CamHelper::getBlanking, and update the
calculations in that function to return both horizontal and vertical
blanking values for a given exposure time and frame duration limits. The
calculations are setup such that vertical blanking is extended to the
maximum allowable value, and any remainder gets put into horizontal
blanking.
The calculated horizontal blanking value is now returned to the pipeline
handler to pass into DelayedControls to program into the sensor.
Update the IPA to now specify the maximum frame duration from the
maximum horizontal + vertical blanking values provided by the sensor
mode. Additionally, the IPA now uses the frame specific horizontal
blanking value (as returned by DelayedControls) in all instances.

Add CamHelper::hblankToLineLength() to calculate the line length
duration from the horizontal blanking (in pixels) value.
Add CamHelper::lineLengthToHblank() to calculate the horizontal blanking
(in pixels) value from the line length duration.
Add CamHelper::lineLengthPckToDuration() to calculate the line length
duration from the line length in pixels.

Update CamHelper::getDelays() to return the sensor HBLANK delay. The
HBLANK delay is set to the same value as VBLANK delay for all sensors in
the Raspberry Pi IPA.
Return the HBLANK gain delay from the IPA to the pipeline handler, and
initialise DelayedControls to handle V4L2_CID_HBLANK with this delay
value.
As a drive-by, check that the V4L2_CID_HBLANK control is available when
calling IPARPi::configure().

Update CamHelper::exposureLines() and CamHelper::exposure() to take a
line length duration parameter for use in the exposure calculations.
For now, only use the minimum line length for all the calculations to
match the existing IPA behavior.

Add fields for minimum and maximum line length duration to the
CameraMode structure. This replaces the existing lineLength field.
Any use of the existing lineLength field is replaced by the new
minLineLength field, as logically we always want to use the fastest
sensor readout by default.
As a drive-by cosmetic change, split all fields in the CameraMode
structure into separate lines.

When we switch camera mode following a pipeline reconfiguration, the
embedded data parser should be "reset" to discard any data that it may
have cached and that might now be invalid.

Refactor all the source files in src/ipa/raspberrypi/ to match the recommended
formatting guidelines for the libcamera project. The vast majority of changes
in this commit comprise of switching from snake_case to CamelCase, and starting
class member functions with a lower case character.

Add an optional sensor_temperature field to the DeviceStatus structure. If a
temperature measurement is available for a frame, the value is returned out
through the SensorTemperature control in the Request metadata.
Additionally, provide the sensor temperature value from the std::ostream &operator<<
overload.

Usage of 'method' to refer to member functions comes from Java. The C++
standard uses the term 'function' only. Replace 'method' with 'function'
or 'member function' through the whole code base and documentation.
While at it, fix two typos (s/backeng/backend/).
The BoundMethod and Object::invokeMethod() are left as-is here, and will
be addressed separately.

We use the CamHelper class to initialise it to the usual value of 1.
The CamHelper's GetModeSensitivity method can be redefined to
implement a different behaviour for sensors that require it.

Store the frame length into the DeviceStatus struct. The value is extracted
from embedded data when available, or calculated from the VBLANK value passed
from DelayedControls otherwise.
Update imx477 and imx219 CamHelper classes to extract the frame length from the
embedded data buffer.

Instead of having each CamHelper subclass the MdParserSmia, change the
implementation of MdParserSmia to be more generic. The MdParserSmia now gets
given a list of registers to search for and helper functions are used to compute
exposure lines and gain codes from these registers.
Update the imx219 and imx477 CamHelpers by using this new mechanism.

unique_ptr that is passed to the base class constructor. This automates the
lifetime management of the parser object.

utils::Duration for all exposure time related variables and
calculations.

CamHelpers get virtual Prepare() and Process() methods, running just
before and just after the ISP, just like Raspberry Pi Algorithms.
The Prepare() method is able to parse the register dumps in embedded
data buffers, and can be specialised to perform custom processing when
necessary.
The IPA itself only needs to call the new Prepare() and Process()
methods. It must fill in the DeviceStatus from the controls first, in
case the Prepare() method does not supply its own values.

For some sensors (e.g. imx477) we need to update the vblanking on the
frame before the exposure. For this reason the GetDelays method must
also return the number of frame delays for the vblanking control.

With the recent change to pass a ControlList to the IPA with exposure
and gain values used for a frame, RPiController::MdParserRPi is not
needed any more. Remove all traces of it.
The derived CamHelper objects now pass nullptr values for the parser to
the base CamHelper class when sensors do not use metadata.

The existing framerate/vblank calculations did not account for the
sensor mode limits. This commit extracts vblank limits from the sensor
v4l2 controls, and stores it in the camera modes structure.
Exposure and vblank value calculations now use values clamped to the
sensor mode limits. The libcamera::controls::FrameDurations metadata
return values now reflect the minimum and maximum after clamping.

Add support for setting V4L2_CID_VBLANK appropriately when setting
V4L2_CID_EXPOSURE. This will allow adaptive framerates during
viewfinder use cases (e.g. when the exposure time goes above 33ms, we
can reduce the framerate to lower than 30fps).
The minimum and maximum frame durations are provided via libcamera
controls, and will prioritise exposure time limits over any AGC request.
V4L2_CID_VBLANK is controlled through the staggered writer, just like
the exposure and gain controls.

Previously the CamHelper was returning the number of frames to drop
(on account of AGC/AWB converging). This wasn't really appropriate,
it's better for the algorithms to do it as they know how many frames
they might need.
The CamHelper::HideFramesStartup method should now just be returning
the number of frames to hide because they're bad/invalid in some way,
not worrying about the AGC/AWB. For many sensors, the correct value
for this is zero. But the ov5647 needs updating as it must return 2.

The libcamera internal headers are located in src/libcamera/include/.
The directory is added to the compiler headers search path with a meson
include_directories() directive, and internal headers are included with
(e.g. for the internal semaphore.h header)

All was well, until libcxx decided to implement the C++20
synchronization library. The __threading_support header gained a
#include <semaphore.h>
to include the pthread's semaphore support. As include_directories()
adds src/libcamera/include/ to the compiler search path with -I, the
internal semaphore.h is included instead of the pthread version.
Needless to say, the compiler isn't happy.
Three options have been considered to fix this issue:
- Use -iquote instead of -I. The -iquote option instructs gcc to only
consider the header search path for headers included with the ""
version. Meson unfortunately doesn't support this option.
- Rename the internal semaphore.h header. This was deemed to be the
beginning of a long whack-a-mole game, where namespace clashes with
system libraries would appear over time (possibly dependent on
particular system configurations) and would need to be constantly
fixed.
- Move the internal headers to another directory to create a unique
namespace through path components. This causes lots of churn in all
the existing source files through the all project.
The first option would be best, but isn't available to us due to missing
support in meson. Even if -iquote support was added, we would need to
fix the problem before a new version of meson containing the required
support would be released.
The third option is thus the only practical solution available. Bite the
bullet, and do it, moving headers to include/libcamera/internal/.
